What's the mfg date?

Not sure how I would find that from the VIN, decoding just listed it as 1983, nothing more specific.
PROTIP: Bondo is not cocaine. Do not scrape it into lines and snort it up after sanding.

On the door tag - it should say like MAR 85.

last six of VIN 049622
MOD's custom transmission (A46DL...sort of it didnt exist until I built it): 16" electric fan (aftermarket, modified to fit) with temp probe and relay KIT. moved temp probe to bottom tank of radiator...the fan works much better now.
EB268c camshaft, 2" cat back exhaust, steel backed chain guide (got tired of braking guides)
replaced rear springs with MOOG MOG-5604 with 2.5 turns removed

Did some digging only approx 16,500 1982-1985 Celica's were imported to Australia over those years. Most of those are gone and rusted out in the early 90's.

Aug '84 I think is the earliest '85 'vert I've heard of.
