Ae86 Levin Pocket Car!
« on: Sep 09, 2003, 03:25:07 am »
The other day i found a old 80's AE86 Levin Hot wheel style pocket car. its purpal and has green pexils on the hood and roof of the car... on on the hood it says "OFF ROADER". I dont understand why its called the off roader because its a car... but its in prett good condition.. but the left door is missing.

I've never heard of a Trueno or Levin Pocket car so i'm guessing this is a rare find... and it doesnt say anyting under the car besides "Made in china"

If anyone knows anything about this car please tell me.

I doubt it, see if you can find some old toy car collection sites.  Is it plastic or metal?  I went through an old box full of my toy cars when i was a kid and found a Z31 300ZX...Im gonna repaint it and all  :D

I think I got screwed on my panda paint job...

Does it look like this minus the color?

http://www.breithaupts.com/tcnew501.htm

Half way down page.

"The Toyota Levin is clearly a Tomica pirate casting. While the base does not indicate the manufacturer, the wheels and style are much like the Welly diecast of the 1980's, many of which were Tomica copies, a practice no longer used by Welly."
