I LOVE that car...everything about it. The spoiler is ify but it doesnt look bad on the car. I like the 2 seater conversion they did and the carbon fiber door panels.

Thats the reason i never really liked the 82/83 cars. Never liked the front lights on them. to me the change for 84 is what made the Celica look good. Must give them their props though, because they really made that car look good

I agree with wadadianu... I think the 84-85 celicas look much better than the 82-83's...

yep your rigth the 84-85 celicas look better than the first ones,in particular the headlights and bumpers and the door handles, but they are all great cars its just that our cars been the last of their kind(RWD)got the revised re-desing.but its all good a celica its a celica.

i was looking for an old email of mine from Toysport to share, but i must have deleted it. I wrote them asking how much it would be to basically turn my 84 celica into a Mark IV Supra with the twin turbo while still looking like a stock Celica (i was going for a true sleeper type deal). They replied along the lines of "although it is a difficult process, we have done it before." and they quoted about 13k dollars (u.s) But, they e-mailed a second time saying that they had one already built, it was red, and the going price was 10k O.B.O.  I wonder the price with a non-turbo. I heard that the MarkIV supra engines were quite pricey. That was like 2 years ago. Turbo or not, that's more than enough horsepower and torque to embarass the neighborhood, genuine "type r" civic/accord/pulsar/justy and of course, detroit muscle. That is what i'd like to do to my Celica...that or just go get a MarkIV

My problem is not with the body, its just the way the front fascia looks. The 84/84 Celicas had a better appearance to me

I actually rather like the 82/83 front look... of course i guess im a little biased, and the steering wheel on the 84/85 bugs the crap out of me..
