Thats odd... i guess it depends upon what celica you own first. I dislike the 82-83 steering wheels and i really dont like the door handels or front end... oh well... its still a celica.

lol, yea, i love the door handles on mine, plus they are a bit more aerodynamic than the 84/85 ones...

I heard people who own the 82-83 celicas and supras say the door handels are a pain in the ass...

Nah, i love how i can walk up to my car and just stick my hand out to open the door.. dont even have to change the motion of my body. ^_^

Get a Grant steering wheel they have good prices and selection but please DO NOT get one of those 3aRacing cheap steering wheels,they suck thats why they are so cheap,get like a 14 inch,anything else looks funny.

All most all of the parts stores sell them. I think Autozone had the cheapest prices for them that I have seen.

If your planning on racing keep the factory sterring wheel, if your power sterring goes out, you will need that large sterring wheel, but if your not going to race it does not matter.

I am sure someone still has it. From some info I read, it was used in 85 to race in IMSA with a 20/22R hybrid.  They wanted to use an 18RG but the car came with US serial numbers instead of Japanese, so they had to use the 22RE. The Celica placed 3rd behind 2 BMW prepped 6cyl cars.
