You can acutally go higher than a TRD stage 3 if you want. But i think TRD stage 3 is a good deal unless you want to go for the LC engineering Cams. You can get a rough idel can and add a lot of HP!

Cam you say!   You have a EFI thats good, but beware you need to stay under
280 duration, the EFI does not like to work with anything higher, vacuum problems araise. Plus even at the durations like 250-280 you should readjust the AFM for the right A/F. This is esp. true with all the other head work that been done, you might look into the idlea of larger injectors now.
Remember if the work was done right your head could flow as much as 200% more air now than stock.
All information was gainned at Toysport.com  under there 20/22/22r(t)e engine section.

cam page
how much larger are your valves?
as you increase the cam's 'cram'
you lose mileage and some low end for higher rpm hp
trd makes nothing themselves as far as i can tell
they just re sell stuff that's usually already on the market
they hav nothing cheap
that's y i never buy their stuff
i forget who made their cams, maybe more than one manufacturer
cam specs can be deceiving
no one lists their profile...
ramp speed is important...
they don't even have dyno graphs...
wut a sorry way to market hp mods
i wouldn't get a regrind before you understand the geometry involved
get a 'new' cam, not a regrind

I have the LC Engineering EFI pro cam in my 84 GT and it is just right. I like the idle and you can really notice the response. I really don't know much about the other brands, but i can say that you will not be disappointed with this cam

Since you already have alot of head work done to your engine i'd go with a bigger cam than the EFI pro. You engine can handel a bigger cam. I personally dont mind rough idel... i think its cool actually But i guess other people hate it.

TRD's cams ARE cheaper then LC's cams... Stage 3 would be good... but if you want a huge cam i'd go with LC's stage 3 or something. The 22RE stock can handel 282 before the valves his the pistons... so keep that in mind also.

I'm almost done rebuilding my motor. I'm using a pretty much stock head(just a bowl job and a quick blend) and am installing a crane stage 2 I'll let you know how it works.

depends on if you mind getting less mpg and more hp...
i'd buy injectors at the junk yard
then take em to the dentist to be soaked in the ultrasound for a few...

You cant just walk into a dentist and ask them to clean your fuel injectors... Or can you?
