I see you have code '3D1' as 1983-1984 super-red.
My 1984 GT-S Coupe is 'Super-Red', but the trim code is '3D7', not 3D1.
Here's the PIC

(Late correction: 3D7 is, according to my paint supplier, simply named, "Red." And, the quart of paint she sold me matches perfectly, in an area under the fender flares. There's apparently no 'super' about my car at all. But, it is definitely, 'Red'. I'm not sure whether I'm bored, or interested, when looking at it.)

Yikes!
Looks like the ultimate paint code post is over here...
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/s...epho/colour.htm

According to this page, my 1984 '3D7' is not super-red, but just plain old 'red.'
No metallic, no pearl, no nothin'.
Just ... "RED".

Just for update, I have a 041 white color on my celica.
Dammit, this site is not emailing me when there are replies.  This is like the 3rd time!  Grrrrr.

Changed the 040 to 041 and uploaded the photo of your car. :)

The Mfr. Code for my 82 is 2C6 (Beige (4A8) & Black (202). The 4A8 was in your paint code for 82 but I don't see it now. Also a picture of my car was with the 4A8 color.
I added the 2C6 and the 4A8 as options in 1982.

My '83 RA64 (Aug. '82 build date) has a paint code of 125, which has the exciting designation( <_< ) of Silver Metallic.
Added 125 as an option in 1983.  Thank you!

I, too, am not sure if I am bored or interested by the color, but I went ahead and added it anyway. :)

I'm not sure, but I think the color code is on a metal production plate on the firewall behind the engine.  Look for C/TR or Color/Trim and the first three characters after that will be your color code.  Let me know what it says and I'll get the color added to the chart.  If its not there it might be on the driver's side inner fender or possibly in the driver's door jamb.

I followed it to your photobucket account and I'm looking at the high-res version. :)  Nice!

I already made a GIF of the RT105, but I saved your photo if I ever need to do the wagon.

Each GIF takes me about an hour to do.  I do them in Flash using a high-res image and most of them still look pretty good when they are blown up big.  I only have about 5-6 left to do until I have done all of them!  I've done 150+ so far!

Just happened across an 85 Celica on Craigslist.  The owner reports that it is color code 894, which is Blue Metallic.

OK guys, I got my hands on a 1983 brochure (which is for sale $15 shipped on my site, BTW) and it lists these colors -- the color codes are best guesses, I need your help to make sure they are correct.
Blue Metallic (896)
Brown Metallic (4C1)
Creme (557)
Gloss Black (202)
Light Blue Metallic (861)
Red (3D1)
Silver Metallic (125)
White (038)
Wine Red Metallic (3C8? 3E2?)
Two-Tone (2C5): Haze Gray Metallic (141) + Gloss Black (202)
Two-Tone (2K5): Brown metallic (4C1) + Gloss Black (202)
Two-Tone (2K6): Silver Metallic (125) + Haze Gray Metallic (141)

I also tweaked the '82 colors based on some info that was on page one that I had previously missed.  Please shout out your year/color code so I can keep improving our information.  Thanks!

I'll have to check the paint code on my Sept 82 built GT-S.  It's red, but I don't recall 3D1.
