The top pic is my Sound Performance SP57 capable of arround 580rwhp. This is going on my 7mgte. The bottom pic is the forward facing intake I'm building for the same engine. This is all going into a 88 Toyota 2wd standard cab truck that I'll be drag racing sometime in the future.

Looks nice. Why is it you have the runners being concave like that? Is there a performance plus to that? Nice workmanship

Actually, I don't know if I will gain much performance but when I started building it I welded a piece of 3/8ths plate on the upper plenum and it was two big oval holes, so I blended the welds into the individual runners and smoothed everything out. Here is a pic of a little grinding befor I welded the pipe on.

Well let us know how it works out. I am looking at a MKIII with a blown engine to put my 7MGTE into. So if I get it, a few hints would be appreciated

I'd put the 7M GTE in a MKII. There a lot more dependable and look almost like the Celica.

Everyone wants big money for the MKII. I found one for a few hundred, but when I looked at it, I think he should give me 500 to move it
