This topic needs to be moved into Off Topic.

Anyways, Im 18...My gramps bought the Celica back in '84 in Guam, had it shipped over to California to use has his car when he comes to the states.  So the car has been in the family for as long as it has been born, I was given the car a year ago. :D

I wondered when this would happen :D

I'm 24 Nov I'm 25 damm I'm getting old. :o
I own a 84 GT-S coupe, this is my second Celica the first I bought was a 85 GT-S hatchback with 234,000Miles, traded with 274,000Miles all factory save for the timing chain(150,000miles: the first owner had all records) and clutch at 235,000miles. These our the best Celicas ever made, yes even better than the
GT-4s.

Heh, 17 here, got my celica for my 16th birthday... my mom had used and abused it for the previous 4 years (im not gonna even start on that) so i had to rebuild the motor, but that was no sweat... the car still runs strong (of course) and everything is still pretty tight (i have a slight rattle in the hatch area i havent been able to find). Un fortunatly the lever to open the hatch from the driver seat busted, so i gotta use the key  :( lol

on my AE86 i have to pop the hatch, get out and lift it up about a half milimeter and pop it again to make it open all the way... i still dont know if thats factory or someonthing wrong... because the latch works fine and nothing is broken... and the cable is still tight too... go figure.

My hatch lever stopped working recently, plus I got a Supra hatch so my key doesn't open it  :o. So I gotta bring my car to a lock smith to open my hatch and make me a new key, I'm too lazy tho to get it done, its been like 2 months...

I am actually surprised that so many off our members are that young. The car seems to be older than atleast one. I thought most of us would be in our 30s to 40s

Guess that just shows what I have thought all the time: The Celica is one of the best looking cars ever built
