I'd never seen one till I got mine. I just kinda fell in love with it.

I never really thought about even fixing mine up.  I was always involved with my 240, but after that passed, i had to shell out 6gs for my commuter car and wanted something to tinker with, so i looked more into the celica.  I had mixed thoughts since not too many people fix these up...But it turned out good as I can see here.

I think I got screwed on my panda paint job...

Same here, I never thought about modifying my celica... to me i was just happy to have a car... then I realized it was RWD... and then i started to slide corners... and then i started looking for info on 3rd gens online and i found this place about two years ago!

I very seldom see them in my area. There is one for sale in Tampa and the guy wants 4000 for it.  Sorry but as much love as I have for these cars, cant see myself paying so much for one with over 100k.  By the way, I also believe Steve did a good thing with this forum. We probably have more posts on this forum that all combined with the old one and the previous

2000 is a good asking price for a gt/st in good condition, 2500 if its a GTS.

Every once in a while fellow celica or toyota owners will eye-ball my car as i drive by... about once a week or so i'll see some dude who owns a brown 83 GTS and he'll look at my car until he cant see me anymore... its funny.
