its pretty loud, its the 4x9 case series.

its louder and deeper in real life though, its insane. sound like a 67 vette, especially now that i gutted the cat :D you wont be sorry with it, but if ur looking for civil i wouldnt get it, lol
4x9 is the size of the oval, but do you know how long the case is?  There are 18" and 24" long cases, IIRC (I've got the MagnaFlow catalog on my HD, I'll look).  I've got a 24" long SuperTurbo in there now, that was quite a shoehorn job, lemme tell ya!!

Main reason I'm even considering a different muffler is the guy @ the muffler shop said the weld @ the muffler inlet was cracking, and he wasn't willing to hit it w/ the wire-feed to touch it up.  I also wouldn't mind just a *touch* more "attitude" from my exhaust note.  I really used to give the ricers hell w/ the SuperTrapp...

1.8 liters of rice-fart doesn't begin to compare to 2.4 liters bellowing thru a 2.5" pipe and a glasspack!!

i hear ya on the sound of the 2.4. It belows over the shitty sound of the smaller 4bangers. My car currently sounds like crap because it has a muffler from a stock 88 celica   I am thinking flowmaster B)  my car has shaved trim and looks alright it's just your own preference. It def. looks good with a shaved antenna B) i dunno how shaved trim looks with flares....i'm sure it would look great with molded flares :)

Flowmaster would sound alright if you could fit it *before* the axle & run straight pipe up & over.  My brother in law has a FlowMaster & 2.5" pipe on his Toy 4x4, and it sounds awesome.  Can't get that sound if the muffler is the last thing in the system.  I expect it'd just be too loud.  Maybe on 2.25" pipe it'd be ok...

Yup, that'd be too loud for my tastes.  Mine's noticable when I'm on it, and just really low & powerful when I'm behaving (uhh, when's that??)

Hmmm, I've got a cherry bomb glasspack on stock piping, and it sounds pretty good at WOT, and its fairly civil if i need it to be... Not quite as aggressive as tim's, but its much more than stock..

i love my exhaust. ive been followed because of it. got chased right after i gutted the cat.

driving along minding my own business, driving slow for once, but only cuz my radar was going off. Anyways, see the po jsut sitting there dropping the gun on people, and i stop at the sign, and pull away slowly

as soon as i think im out of range, and full out of sight i slam on the gas, hard. it open up and gets all loud, but i didnt care. i was slowing down for the next sign and all of a sudden i saw the black and white driving up the way. i was like shit, hes speeding up. so i turned left quick, took like twisty streets with a couple of exits on em, and drove to my house quick and opened the garage, drove in, and shut it.
