I think Steve was looking for info on these cars. http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/Jack_Davis.jpg   They were the aftermarket company that did the convertibles before ASC. If I am correct ASC was the only one certified by Toyota to do it.

Yeah I was thinking that myself. That is one horrible job.  Looks like somone took a tarp and layed it over the car and put some clear plastic as a rear window

So is a Honda Civic DX with sunroof.  It isnt OEM so I really dont see the value in it. Guess it just boils down to personal taste

hope I am not offending anyone but I never liked the RA40 coupe, and that just cemented my thoughts of that being the ugliest Celica ever

I really dont like the RA40 coupe either. I dont mind the hatch though... But i liek the early version... with round head lights and where it says "liftback" on the sides between the front and rear windows instead of Celica.

Although the GT Rally version over seas was pretty cool too!

ah i used to have an 81 celica ... was really beat up tho.. used it for parts.. front suspension was gone.. had a blown head gasket.. rust everywhere..
