I got SocomII for PS2 Jay, but I don't have broadband yet so I can't play it online...

Excellent. Did you just get it? You gotta get the broadband. I switch ISPs every year just to get a deal. I hate paying regular price.

Yea I got it a couple weeks ago, its pretty fun but I want to play online

I'd get DSL but I think I should buy a good computer first. Right now I have like a P2 or something like that, so it wouldn't be totally worth it to me to get DSL for just PS2.

Dude. You have a P2 as in Pentium 2? I have a Pentium MMX 166.That 's like a P1.5 . Your computer is more than fast enough to take full advantage of DSL. I used to use a P1 133 and it was still fine. I have a big 48 megs of RAM. That's nothing, but I can surf just fine with it. I cant play any new games on it but that's what the PS2 is for.
If your ISP says your system is too slow, just tell them they are wrong and to hook you up.

Heh, didn't think my pc was actually faster then anybody elses. Anyways, my GF would love to play the sims online and she'd probably Diablo 2 and stuff like that. I'd personally like to play unreal online, but any of these games won't play on my PC at all. I really need a new PC and DSL. Maybe I should just get a credit card and buy a PC and pay it off like that, I can easily do payments. It's saving up the money for expensive things that gets me <_<

Heh, I remember when I played the original quake online and I'd always own my dad.... it was really funny.
