Ive made a bunch more little changes that no one will really notice.
The Changes:- Removed that integrity messenger thing from profiles.
- Disabled remote avatars (to prevent dead avatars).
- Altered the first pip ranks. Now only people with zero posts will get the light blue pip (titled "Lurker"). Once you have one single post you will have one normal blue pip.
- Turned on bot control (you now have to enter a verification number to register or change your email address. This should prevent any more of those spam bots we've been seeing lately).
- I also added a (very simple) bot control system to my guestbook because of the HUGE amounts of spam bots posting. Ive removed all of the hundreds of spam entries so it should all be real people again.
- Enabled the birthday list for the main forum and calendar.
- And, Ive also enabled calendar events, so now you guys can add your events to the calendar and the whole forum will see them for 30 days prior.
The one thing you will probably notice (if you have a good monitor) is that I set a 97% width for the forum. Im just playing around with this style, so please tell me if you like it or hate it. I'll reset it if its ugly or causing problems.
Also, should we keep the Introductions forum? Looks like everyone is using the one thread. Granted its only been a day, but Im thinking that we should just do a single Introductions / Names thread and sticky it in General or OT.
