OOo I like me some bourbon. I like the stuff that fights you. I've been partial to Booker's. But I honestly don't drink often, only when there's a special occasion. And especially sucks the night before a karate practice, I can really feel the loss of energy. It's funny though in our organization there's one dojo that drink ALLLL the time, I really don't know how they do it. Basically each night after practice they're drinking. They're such a great group too and one of the older groups in our organization.

Drinking runs in my genes >_> I don't get hangovers regardless of how much I drink and can wake up and  function perfectly fine for work. *shrugs* That said I will reply to the woman finding topic in the other thread tomorrow when I am sober, because I am not at the moment and I would have much to say and I am lazy atm hahahaha.

On the end of that note, my pops came to visit me and has been generous enough to make some damn good food, yesterday was burgers, today spaghetti, and tomorrow bbq chicken. Man I miss my parent's home cooked meals, I can never make em the same (Moms viet, and my Dads Polish and Irish = lots of tasty stuff).

Now me and pops are chilling drinking, I have my tequila and he has his brandy. Sorta in a food coma hahaaa..

I seem to have a yeast issue. I drink quite a bit of hard liquor, but if I go to a micro brew two beers can make me dizzy drunk sick.

Same here, I can't drink enough beer to get drunk, after 3 or 4 I can't stomach any more. I'm personally partial to vodka, which I finally remember to grab from the trailer and bring home.

At most I'll have 2 beers, or 1 liquor-based drink or shot and 1 beer since that's just about where I stop. I haven't yet pushed the boundaries and I'm not sure I want to either. :heh:

I just realized I said I drink quite a bit of hard liquor, meant to say I "can" drink a lot of hard liqour, but not unfiltered beer.

Same here, I can't drink enough beer to get drunk, after 3 or 4 I can't stomach any more. I'm personally partial to vodka, which I finally remember to grab from the trailer and bring home.

Ah yea good vodka is really smooth.

Any of you guys like to mix? My favorites are couple that my friend and I kind of came up with.

We even named it since we didn't see the recipe online. We call it Arctic Silver. It consist of 1 part champagne, one part hypnotic and 1 part cranberry lemonade and add ice. Reason we call it arctic silver is because when you hold it up to the light kind of looks like little ice burgs in a silver ocean as the red, blue and gold colors of the alcohol cancel each other.

The other is just juice from a sour tangerine, some san pellegrino orange and vodka. That I just mix based on what people want, but for those who don't like the taste of vodka the sour tangerine and pellegrino can really remove most of it.

I think my beer pallet is not developed at all. I like all of the light beers in general. Sometimes around here you can find Sapporo in cans at the 99C store.

I drink most of my liquor straight for the most part, unless it's really nasty stuff, then I'll have something to chase it with (E&J Brandy blaaaaaaeeghhhhh )

I do like my mixed drinks when I want to tone it down, favorites are probably screwdrivers, redbull vodka, a good margarita, and whiskey sour.

As long as this Arctic Silver doesn't taste like the thermal paste, I'll have to try it :heh:
