The GTS had IRS, wheel flares, alloy wheels, Supra seats etc. They both use the same engine, but the advantage would fall to the GTS for overall handling

In a straight line race the GT would actually have the advantage if it had the same 225/60 tires, because of the lack of "squat" in the solid rear axle.

The difference in ride and handling is very noticeable between GT and GT-S.
The GT-S from my experience feels alot more solid and stable. Turns on a dime and likes tight turns. The rear suspension just flat out grips!....

To know the difference, go into a sharp turn with some ripples and then let me know what prayer you used. If it was one that thanks God because you are alive then that is a GT, if its one that thanks God for inspiring a Toyota engineer with such brilliance then its a GTS

Might be shocks and bushings letting them hop around

i was driving my celica and i just remembered that it was when my friend was driving his jetta... lol i got two different stories mixed up.

The dude in the jetta was on my ass so i took a pretty big corner at 70 and i handeled it well but the front wheels didnt like it too well and my tires had to speak up too.

Interior is like brand new.....except the previous owner removed the stock GT-S/Supra seats and put in reg GT style.  Don't ask me why.

For some reason, some people do not like the GTS seats. I like them but they are very heavy, so can imagine the weight savings

How heavy is a GTS seat? If your goin for some weight reductions I bet switching to an aftermarket seat is really light, how heavy are those?
