Not sure on the US model, but there are two tabs at the base of the seat. Pull on them, and lift the base of the seat and it should release. Then after that you car remove the hinges for the seat back

You pull the tabs out one at a time phile pulling the seat up. Once you get the front of the seat free, push the seat belt buckles trouhgh and pull the seat straight out. Pull the trunk carpeting into the car the whole way so you can see the bolts holding the seat backs on. Two on the insides of the seats and one on the outsides. the only thing left is to unscrew the trim at the tops of the seats to release the carpeting and take the seat backs out.

The rear seats do not weigh that much, not more than 15lbs. MAX.
But it is worth a try, just pull those tabs either up or out or both. After you have removed the rear lower seat it just a matter of removing a few bolts at the base at the rear seat backs. Do not forget to lift the tab on top of the seat back, the one used to lower the rear seats. On hatchbacks the seat backing(carpet) must be removed to to remove the seat.

You'll probably have to pull on the tabs with a pair of pliers. The slots in the floor they go into are exposed on the backside so they do get pretty funky.

I have taken the bottom part of the rear seat out many times. All you have to do is push in the little tabs on either side of the bottom and pull up. If that still does not work stick a small flat bladed screwdriver underneath the tab. The seat is held on by a piece of bent metal that goes around a heavy wire loop. Sometimes the metal piece gets kinda stuck and you gotta work it to get it going.

On my coupe, I popped up the back rest and was then able to unbolt the bottom rest.  I think.  That was a while ago.  Cleaned them up and sprayed with vinyl die and reinstalled.
