Toyota VIN Codes

The following is an information sheet on Toyota vehicle identification number (V.I.N.) data. The VIN number is the basic car identification, used by many organizations to track and verify automobiles.

You will find the vehicle identification number on the VIN plate located either on the firewall, or on the drivers door. The VIN contains all of the basic information about the car as well as an individual serial number. I know this is accurate for most Toyotas but I can not guarantee that all Toyotas still used this plan.
